A little helper in the kitchen
Selecting taps for your kitchen is often no more than an afterthought. But it’s amazing what a difference to your life an educated choice can make. Just three weeks in, the Franke Little Butler, which gives us near boiling hot filtered water on tap, has already made itself indispensable in our household.
You can imagine the amount of tea a family of eight manages to get through in a day. Well, now I never need to boil the kettle to make a cup – which also means I never need to re-boil the kettle when I get distracted by a child or some urgent chore. Instead I can just push the little lever and seconds later be sitting down, mug in hand, enjoying my five minutes’ peace.
The Little Butler really comes into its own when I’m cooking – whether it’s for hot water to add to soups, cook veg or rinse knives for the next round of chopping. And because we only ever use what we need, we’re saving water as well as energy – big plus points for both the environment and for the youngest green champion of the family.
