Our very own expert witness
When he’s not busy taking my kitchen designs off the page and putting them into our customer’s homes, Jerry moonlights as an expert witness. His years of experience in fitting kitchens have put him in the ideal position to comment on other companies’ work when consumers complain that things have gone wrong.
Jerry rarely has to give evidence in court, but he did appear on TV recently – much to the amazement of our younger kids and the embarrassment of the eldest. When the BBC asked Jerry to appear as an expert witness on Rogue Traders, he leapt at the chance to help and was soon packed off to London to inspect the kitchen in question.
Jerry put together a report giving his qualified perspective on the matter, just as he usually does for anyone who finds him through Kitchen Expert Witness but this time he was able to get across the importance of delivering first-class service every time to a much wider audience. It doesn’t look like Jerry will be becoming Kelso’s big celebrity any time soon though – with so much to pack into the programme, his appearance was just a minute or so long!
