Tile Gallery and Farrow & Ball Design Studio
Hoping I’ve dropped enough hints to find a copy of Farrow & Ball’s exquisite new book under the tree this Christmas. (Nudge, nudge.) Bursting with beautiful images, Living with Colour is the ideal companion for anyone wanting to make a real impact with interiors. And it’s twice as apt for me, since Countryside Kitchens just became an official stockist of Farrow & Ball wallpapers and paints.
I’ve long been an admirer of the Dorset based company. So I’m thrilled that we’re the first place people from the Kelso area will come to view the Farrow & Ball range. The company makes its hand crafted papers to order and its high quality paints are available in traditional and contemporary finishes. Each colour even has its own evocative name – Elephant’s Breath has to be my favourite.
Of course, if you’ve visited Countryside Kitchens recently, you’ll know that Farrow & Ball isn’t the only new addition to our Borders showroom. We’ve also added an entirely new area, which we’re calling our tile gallery.
If you get flummoxed trying to select tiles from overcrowded boards, you’ll find our gallery a breath of fresh air. To help you make your choices more easily, we’ve framed our enormous range of kitchen and bathroom tiles and hung them on our walls. You’ll find natural stone floor tiles, and porcelain and ceramic tiles for splashbacks and walls. We also stock a variety of delicate mosaic tiles – perfect for stamping your individuality on your home.
Tiles come in classic designs and quirky contemporary patterns, with styles to suit any of our bespoke handmade kitchens and all tastes. Our youngest has already asked for the family bathroom to be decked out in the leopard skin tiles – up close they appear as furry as the real thing.
